Revisão sistemática do transporte de microplástico do continente para o oceano

Resumo

O perfil de consumo e a destinação final de produtos que contenham plástico demonstram claramente padrões de consumo de uma economia globalizada pautada no crescimento de produção como alicerce econômico. Ao longo da história, a cultura mundial não agregou aos plásticos metodologias de ciclo de vida e produção circular que vislumbrem reúso, reciclagem e formas de descarte desse material. É imprescindível à sociedade criar sistemas para gerenciar o ciclo de produção, consumo e destinação final adequado de plásticos. A estimativa de crescimento produtivo não se alinha com o crescimento significativo de reciclagem, fator que contribui para o descarte e consequentemente aumenta a quantidade de resíduos que serão lançados nos oceanos. Dessa maneira, torna-se importante saber a quantidade de plástico que entra nos rios e é transportada para o mar, como ocorre o transporte no globo, como são os processos de degradação e quais os impactos causados à natureza. A revisão da literatura é um passo fundamental para a pesquisa e a formação do conhecimento científico. Por meio da revisão sistemática, é possível explicitar, planejar, justificar e atualizar questões relevantes do foco da pesquisa. Neste trabalho, é apresentada uma metodologia para busca de artigos científicos e se promove a contribuição bibliográfica sobre do tema do transporte de microplástico do continente para o oceano.
